Job Description

You are part of a workgroup consisting of telephone operators and system administrators.

Telephone service is available in three locations and supports healthcare around the clock, every day of the year.

As a telephone operator, you work in several systems, relay calls, and guide the public with the right information.

Other common tasks include:

• Managing, alarming, and monitoring urgent medical alarms
• Guiding to the right functions for both the public and the region's operations
• Administration and handling of disaster support, on-call changes, and on-call lists.

The work is scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. Night work may also occur if needed. The advertisement concerns two permanent positions and two six-month temporary positions with a high chance of extension.

To provide good service in the role of telephone operator, you need to:

• Have a high stress tolerance and maintain calm when handling calls in pressured and urgent alarm situations
• Be able to work at a high pace and actively listen while searching for information simultaneously
• Have very good teamwork skills but also be able to take responsibility and work independently.

You have a high school education and good knowledge of Microsoft 365, as well as experience in learning and working in various IT systems. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and have the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way, and you have experience in switchboard and telephone work.

Experience in meeting people in vulnerable situations is an advantage.
