SJR is looking for Accounting Assistants
SJR is seeking two accounting assistants on behalf of our client, focusing on accounts receivable and/or accounts payable. Our client is a company operating in e-commerce, where a lot is happening and decision-making paths are short. The culture is characterized by engagement, curiosity, and reasonable expectations – here, people work together and help each other when needed.
You will start as a consultant through SJR for 6 months with the intention of transitioning to a permanent position with our client. The company is currently located in Borås, where you are expected to be on-site about 3 days a week. In early summer, the business will move to central Gothenburg.
About the position
You will be part of a team of 6 people and will work with accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.
Focus on accounts payable:
- Handling supplier and overhead invoices
- Administration and follow-up in the invoice management system
- Reminders and contact with suppliers
- Ongoing bookkeeping
- Account reconciliations
Focus on accounts receivable:
- Ongoing management of customer transactions
- Bank reconciliations and follow-up of incoming and outgoing payments
- Support to customer service with, for example, refunds
- Ongoing bookkeeping
- Account reconciliations
- Working closely with systems and processes
Regardless of the focus, you are expected to be unpretentious and ready to support the team where needed. The work is done in Business Central and Medius.
Suitable background
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience working as an accounting assistant, preferably from a larger or publicly traded company. For the accounts receivable role, experience from transaction-intensive environments, such as e-commerce, is a plus. For the accounts payable role, security in the entire supplier flow and work close to year-end closing is valued.
You are:
