Job Description

You will be part of a workgroup consisting of telephone operators and system administrators.

Telephone service is available in three locations and supports healthcare around the clock, every day of the year. As a telephone operator, you will work in several systems, relay calls, and guide the public with the right information.

Other common tasks include:

• Managing, alarming, and monitoring emergency medical alarms
• Guidance to the right functions for both the public and the region's operations
• Administration and handling of disaster support, on-call changes, and on-call lists
• Monitoring of technical alarms.

The work is scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. Night work may occur as needed. The position is a temporary contract until 2026-12-31.

To provide good service in the role of telephone operator, you need to:

• Have a high tolerance for stress and maintain calm when handling calls in pressured and emergency alarm situations
• Be able to work at a fast pace while actively listening and searching for information simultaneously
• Have excellent collaboration skills but also be able to take responsibility and work independently.

You have a high school education and good knowledge of Microsoft365. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and have the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way. Furthermore, you are accustomed to learning and working in various IT systems.

Experience with switchboard and referral systems, contact centers, or other telephone operator work is an advantage. Experience in meeting people in vulnerable situations is also a plus.
