About the role of Business Controller

As a Business Controller with us at Jefferson Wells, at our client RISE, you will play a key role in supporting the business with analysis, business support, and decision-making material. The role involves actively contributing to increasing profitability, optimizing equipment utilization, and coaching and supporting the business in financial matters.

Common tasks include:

• Responsible for reporting, follow-up, and analysis of the business and project portfolios
• Develop decision-making material and provide business support to management
• Work with profitability analyses and cost optimization
• Evaluate the utilization of equipment and resources

The candidate we are looking for

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys an advisory role close to the business. You have experience in controlling within research institutes or similar organizations and are used to working with both details and a holistic perspective. To succeed in this role, you are communicative, structured, and have an easy time collaborating with different parts of the organization.

We see that you have:

• Economic education at the college or university level
• Experience in controlling roles within research institutes or similar organizations
• Good analytical and communicative skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience working in Excel

Meritorious:

• Experience in project controlling within research institutes
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Experience with business systems, preferably IFS
• Familiarity with working closely with management teams
