Business Controller for the Food Department at Rise

We are looking for a Business Controller for the Food Department at Rise. In this role, you will hold a key position in supporting the business with qualified analysis, business support, and relevant decision-making materials. You will work closely with operations and management, focusing on follow-up, reporting, and analysis of both ongoing operations and project portfolios.

About the Position

The role involves active responsibility for contributing to increased profitability and efficiency through analysis of costs, revenues, and resource utilization. You will also work on optimizing and evaluating the use of equipment and coach and support managers and project leaders in financial matters.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Analysis, follow-up, and reporting of the organization’s financial results
• Support to management and operations with decision-making materials and financial analyses
• Controlling of projects and project portfolios
• Work with profitability analyses and efficiency of resource and equipment utilization
• Financial advice and coaching to managers and operational leaders
• Further development of financial reports and follow-up models

We Believe You Have

• Academic education in economics from a university or college
• Experience in controlling roles within research institutes or similar organizations
• Very good analytical skills and the ability to translate analysis into clear decision-making materials
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with different parts of the organization
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
• Good knowledge and practical experience of working in Excel

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in project controlling within research institutes
• Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools
• Experience with the IFS business system
• Experience working closely with and presenting to management groups
