About the position
Perido is looking for an International Mobility Business Partner for our client, a large and well-known company in the automotive industry. Here, you will be offered a developing consulting assignment in a global corporation, in a supportive and engaged work environment focused on collaboration and service. The position is located in Gothenburg.
Your responsibilities
Your role involves ensuring that the process for relocating employees between countries runs as smoothly as possible. Together with the team, you will be responsible for the entire assignment lifecycle, including support in immigration, relocation, tax, social security, pensions, and payroll. This requires close collaboration and good coordination with various internal stakeholders such as HR, managers, and finance, as well as with external providers in relocation, immigration, tax, global insurance, etc.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support in global mobility to employees and their families, HR, and managers
- Develop compensation and benefits packages and cost forecasts; initiate relocation and other vendor services and manage associated administrative tasks
- Conduct meetings with expatriated employees to present terms and conditions and provide interpretation and guidance regarding policies
- Maintain frequent communication with all involved parties and act as the primary contact point for cross-border arrangements
- Manage expectations through proactive communication and ensure that each stakeholder is aware of their role in the process and acts accordingly
- Advise and educate on policies, guidelines, processes, and procedures within global mobility to ensure a clear understanding among all parties
- Identify tax risks and support compliance with regulations in collaboration with internal tax and compliance specialists
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

Qualifications:
- University degree in HR, business administration, a related field, or equivalent work experience. HR experience is required if the education is not in HR.
- Documented experience in a similar role with responsibility for global mobility programs and international assignments.
- Knowledge of processes within global mobility, including payroll, tax, social security, expatriate compensation, pensions, relocation, immigration, insurance, and compliance.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with stakeholders at various levels in the organization and the ability to explain complex issues in a simple and clear manner.
- Analytical ability with great attention to detail while maintaining a holistic perspective.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines as well as navigate complex international regulations.
- High degree of cultural awareness and understanding of cultural aspects in global assignments.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to proactively set expectations and build relationships across all levels and cultures within the organization.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English.
Scope and start date
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2027-02-01. Start date 2026-02-01.
