We are looking for a meticulous and committed Accounting Assistant for an 11-month temporary position starting at the beginning of April.

At Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers, the accounting department is tasked with delivering high-quality accounting services and related processes to the entire organization. The department's employees contribute daily with expertise and service and support the business operations in matters related to accounting and tax. An important part of the mission is also to increase knowledge and understanding of these areas throughout the organization.

You will be part of a team that supports the entire organization in accounting and financial matters. The department currently consists of seven people and is responsible for ensuring that the group has a well-functioning, secure, and cost-effective accounting. The position reports to the Group Accounting Manager, and your workplace is located at Korsvägen – right in the heart of Gothenburg.

Responsibilities:

As an accounting assistant, you will work with:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Accounts payable
• Handling account, credit, and gift card reconciliations
• Administrative support to the entire finance team
• Reconciliations and support during month-end closing
• Other tasks within finance and administration

Qualifications and Desired Attributes

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an education in finance
• Has at least one year of experience in accounting
• Thrives on accuracy and structure
• Enjoys working in systems and has good knowledge of Excel
• Is responsible, curious, and a team player
• Communicates well in spoken and written Swedish
