We at Industriqompetens are now looking for a Quality Technician on behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry. You will play a key role in quality work with responsibility for the measurement room and measuring equipment. The role combines programming of measuring machines with development of quality routines, method development, and improvement work in the inspection department. You will provide technical support to production and design and contribute to enhancing internal competence in measurement technology.

• Develop and improve quality routines and working methods
• Drive method development and improvement work in the inspection department
• Program and perform measurements in CMM for complex details and geometries
• Be responsible for the measurement room and measuring equipment, including calibration and standardization
• Coach colleagues in measurement technology, reading drawings, and quality work
• Perform root cause analyses and initiate improvement actions
• Work closely with designers, CNC operators, and technicians

• Experience in programming CMM machines (e.g., Zeiss Calypso or PC-DMIS)
• Knowledge of reading drawings, geometric tolerances, and measurement uncertainty
• Experience in quality work, method development, and improvement projects
• Technical education in measurement technology, quality, or production technology – or equivalent experience
• Meritorious: CAD skills and experience in technical leadership
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

Extent: Full-time, permanent

Start date: By agreement

We typically start with a temporary employment to allow both you and us to get to know each other well before possibly transitioning to a permanent position with IQ or one of our client companies. Depending on your background, experience, and references, a permanent position may naturally be relevant from the start.
You will receive a fixed monthly salary and other compensations according to the technical agreement, which is the collective agreement we and most of our clients are affiliated with.
