Job Description

AFRY has a long and successful history in the energy sector, and within Transmission & Distribution, we are proud to offer a comprehensive portfolio of services in energy production, distribution, and storage. We currently have about 200 consultants in the power grid area who drive assignments and collaborations both nationally and internationally. We have broad expertise and together contribute to a sustainable energy transition by expanding and developing tomorrow's power grids.

We are in an expanding industry and are now looking for a BAS-P/BAS-U coordinator who wants to contribute to the energy transition and the security of Sweden's electricity supply. In this role, you will be a key person in our projects, and through your work, you will create a safe working environment in the projects and for our clients, while minimizing risks in workplaces and society. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, clients, and technical specialists, where you coordinate occupational safety issues during the design and construction phases, identifying and preventing risks. You will ensure that occupational safety plans are developed, followed, and updated, and that our projects meet both legal requirements and safety standards.

You will become part of an engaged team and get to work on both large and smaller projects within an expanding and socially important industry. We have offices in several locations in Sweden, including Malmö, Gothenburg, Trollhättan, Värnamo, Karlstad, Solna, and Uppsala, and travel is common in this role.

Qualifications

Personal competencies are something we value highly for you to thrive in the role. We are looking for someone who is responsible and takes initiative. You are not afraid to produce the necessary documents and carry out the tasks required to drive the work forward. You are meticulous and have a good ability to plan, organize, and structure your work. Since the role involves many contact points both internally and externally, it is important that you can communicate well and clearly in both speech and writing. You value collaboration and building good relationships. You are happy to share your knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to a learning environment, possibly in a mentoring role.

Furthermore, we see that you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in systematic occupational safety work as BAS-P/BAS-U
• Project experience where you have worked with coordination, management, and/or control
• Relevant university degree or engineering degree
• Training in BAS-P, BAS-U, ESA, and the Work Environment Ordinance, e.g., BAM training
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Driving license B

If you have previous experience in the power line industry, infrastructure, and/or experience in electrical safety work, quality issues, or HMSQ (Health, Environment, Safety, Quality), we consider it an advantage.
