About the operation:

Together we can do more! Energy and climate advice is conducted in collaboration with neighboring municipalities and is financed with funds from the Swedish Energy Agency. You will work directly with residents, businesses, housing associations, and organizations in six municipalities.

The focus of the operation is free advice in accordance with the regulations of the Energy Agency and based on the different focuses of the program periods. This includes advisory visits on-site as well as digitally, seminars, and events with collaborating municipalities.

You will be part of the business unit that belongs to the municipal management office while also strengthening the Energy and Climate Advisory service, which currently consists of one person. We are located in a modern office environment in Vallentuna center. In this position, site visits are common, and the opportunity for remote work is therefore offered based on how this can be combined with the advisory work.

Job responsibilities:

The position includes project management of cluster collaboration by applying for grants from the Swedish Energy Agency for the municipalities involved in the collaboration agreement. You will plan the operation based on the agency's announcements, regional projects, and requests for local events from the municipalities in the cluster. The focus of the operation consists of advice in various forms. Therefore, it is important that you possess solid expertise in energy issues and are comfortable in an advisory role to individuals, businesses, organizations, and associations. The role includes proactive work, analyzing target groups, and finding arenas to inform about energy and climate advice, with the aim of reaching more.

The job involves a high degree of independent work within given frameworks, which is why it is important that you are structured. The role requires pedagogical and communicative skills, i.e., the ability to adapt your message to the needs and focus issues of different target groups. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Participation in events and organizing seminars occurs in the evenings as well as on weekends.

Qualifications:

• Academic degree, extensive knowledge of building energy systems such as civil engineering or engineering degree in building technology, or equivalent experience focused on building energy use.
• Experience in energy and climate advice or similar tasks is an advantage.
• Good insight into the Energy Agency's regulations, regulation 2016:385 including regulations STEMFS 2016:3 and 2018:1.
• Driver's license (B).
