About us
Närhälsan Lövgärdet Health Center and BVC is a well-established and stable operation in the Angered district with about 9,000 registered residents and over 20 employees.
The health center is beautifully located right next to Vättlefjäll Nature Reserve and Surtesjön. The district is home to residents from all over the world. We work based on core values, where the equal value of all people is the focus, rather than cultural and linguistic challenges.
Through continuous quality work, we have succeeded in making patients feel welcome, well-treated, and satisfied with the care we provide. In patient surveys, the health center has been ranked among the top ten in the Västra Götaland region for several years. BVC is part of a family center and works health-promoting closely with several other actors.

About the job
Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of responsibilities and cover the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via phone, home visits, and at the clinic.
The work involves both acute and planned activities. Close collaboration takes place with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operation forward.
About you
You are a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have experience working in primary care and/or have a mentoring education of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener during both phone calls and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and operational development. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

About the recruitment process
The selection is done in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
