Närhälsan Lerum health center is a pleasant and well-functioning clinic centrally located in Lerum, about 20 minutes by train or car from central Gothenburg.
We have approximately 18,700 registered patients. Here you will find around sixty employees from various professional categories with high competence and great commitment. The health center is well-staffed and has had a good and secure economy for many years, as well as well-developed structures for both management and medical work. About the job
As a psychiatric nurse, you will belong to the health center's mental health team. This team also includes psychologists and social workers. You will work largely independently with patients of all ages, both through triaging and assessments via phone, as well as with your own outpatient work where you treat and follow up patients. The work is conducted through both acute and planned activities with a varying range of tasks.
Collaboration with other colleagues in the unit, such as nurses and doctors, is important. Close collaboration also takes place cross-professionally in the team together with social workers, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators, but also with other actors such as specialist care. Together with the health center management, you and your colleagues are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward.
About you
You are a licensed nurse with specialist training in psychiatric care. It is advantageous if you have experience working as a psychiatric nurse in primary care and/or have worked as a care coordinator in mental health.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitization and business development.

The position is a temporary contract for 6 months.

About the recruitment process
The selection process consists of two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. After that, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
