We are currently looking for another colleague for Hemsjögården's nursing home!

Hemsjögården's nursing home is beautifully located next to Lake Sävelången, about 10 kilometers outside of Alingsås. The facility has two departments with great expertise in group physical therapy and dementia care. The nursing home is small, family-oriented, and cozy. Currently, we have 34 residents with us. Here, we are a knowledgeable and cheerful team that collaborates throughout the facility and works person-centered. The position is a combined role where you will work both in the dementia and somatic departments throughout the facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant at Hemsjögården's nursing home, you will work from a salutogenic approach, focusing on the user's own resources and abilities. Your work will be adapted to the individual's needs and may vary from day to day.

In the role of nursing assistant, you will:

• Work to provide good and safe care
• Provide good care through support, assistance, and services that contribute to safety, participation, and quality of life.
• Perform health and medical tasks by delegation according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).
• Be a present and significant person in the user's daily life through social interaction and meaningful activities.
• Participate in welcome conversations and establish, follow up, and document implementation plans in our digital systems.
• Contribute to planning, development work, and quality improvements in the operations.

Together with your colleagues, you create a meaningful everyday life for our users. As a nursing assistant with us, you will be part of our work on continuous improvements. Small changes in our daily lives can create significant improvements for our users and in our work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title. If you have previous experience in elderly care or other healthcare activities, we consider it an advantage.

You are used to working via digital platforms and follow the workplace's action plans, policies, and guidelines as well as the provisions of the Social Services Act according to SoL §1:1.

You express yourself clearly both verbally and in writing and have the ability to convey ideas and information in a structured and adapted manner, depending on the recipient and situation. You always meet users, relatives, and colleagues with empathy, respect, and attentiveness. You ensure that the information you provide is understood and simultaneously show that you take in and understand the information you receive from others.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills, are social, and contribute to a positive work climate. You take your own initiatives, drive the work forward, and work purposefully. With a holistic perspective, you always have the best interests of the operations in focus, and we place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

The position involves day/evening work and every other weekend.
