The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3000 employees work with us every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare of the highest quality.

Description

Radiology is part of the Diagnostic and Service area within the Hospitals in the West and is present at all four hospitals in the administration.

In addition to radiology, the area also includes the VGR SV Pharmacy and Medical Technology.

The department has conventional radiology, CT, ultrasound, MRI, and some interventional activities. The operations staff the radiology clinics at Kungälv Hospital and Angered Local Hospital.

Radiology offers you a developing and creative workplace with pleasant interactions between colleagues, patients, and their relatives. The operation is an important part of the care chain, which means you will meet many different patients from various operations and flows throughout the hospital. Together we work based on the different competencies we have but also based on each patient's unique conditions and needs. Kungälv Hospital and Angered Local Hospital

We are about 90 employees working together. Currently, we use individual schedules and work day/evening/weekend and night shifts. The inconvenient working hours are scheduled at Kungälv Hospital as Angered Local Hospital is a daytime hospital.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed radiographer, preferably with previous radiological work experience. If you have good technical knowledge in CT (GE), it is an advantage. You enjoy working in a team and collaborate well with different people. You appreciate a creative and pleasant work environment and are keen to contribute to such an environment. You want to be involved in developing the work, the operation, and your opportunity to influence is significant. A patient-centered approach is a given for you in your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
