JOB DESCRIPTION

As an assistant nurse within the short-term unit, you will be challenged with creative and fun tasks. It is a flexible and varied job where you meet care recipients with different care needs and support measures. You place the care recipient at the center and work to achieve the best possible interaction. An important part of the job is to create quality of life in everyday life for the individual and to consider each person's conditions and needs.

The role of the assistant nurse includes all tasks that arise within the operation, and you will collaborate closely with other professional categories such as nurses, occupational therapists, case managers, and rehabilitation staff. The job also includes performing health and medical tasks by delegation. You will be part of a team with different professions that plans discharges for care recipients from short-term care. It is important that you, as an applicant, are independent and quickly find your place in a larger group. The working method at the Short-Term Unit in Stenungsund differs from other operations based on rehabilitation thinking and urgent interventions.

The short-term unit is a digitized workplace. Contact management, documentation, and implementation plans according to IBIC are tools used in the interventions and are conducted digitally.

Your working hours will be scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. The position is temporary for 6 months with the possibility of permanent employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an applicant who is a trained assistant nurse with experience and qualifications in health-promoting care and rehabilitation or equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You are familiar with applicable legislation and the national value base. You have previous experience in healthcare, and it is advantageous if you have previously worked in short-term care.

You meet people in a respectful and professional manner. You are a positive and independent person who sees opportunities, is flexible, and enjoys working in a changing environment.

A requirement is that you master the Swedish language in speech and writing; being multilingual is an advantage.
