About the Job

This provides you with great variation in your work and opportunities to continuously develop your skills and learn new things, together with patients and colleagues in a close team.

The placement will be in our short-term unit. In the short-term unit, you work in a multidisciplinary team, which is a strength in ensuring good care for those we serve. The team consists of nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We have a close collaboration with care managers and staff in home care and at care and nursing homes.

We work based on a person-centered approach focusing on the patient's resources and participation. As an occupational therapist, you perform assessments, treatments, and evaluations. Together with the patient, you work towards the patient's person-centered goals with interventions aimed at providing the greatest possible independence in daily life. The work also includes supervising care staff and delegating rehabilitation interventions as well as prescribing and testing medical technical aids.

About You

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in rehabilitation work or municipal health and medical care is an advantage. A B driver's license is also an advantage.

It is important that you have good collaboration skills and are attentive to the needs of the elderly. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your work and are engaged, positive, and feel secure in your professional role. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are used to making quick decisions. You are an important part of the team but can also work independently. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. Together with the team, you have the opportunity to make a difference for the individual.
