About us

Munkedal municipality has beautiful nature with proximity to the sea, forests, and mountains.

Here you can fish in the Örekilsälven, climb, and hike, and the proximity to the E6 makes it easy to commute by car or public transport.

The workgroup consists of 6 physiotherapists and 3 occupational therapists, and there is a good cohesion in the group. It is a cheerful team with high engagement, caring for each other and welcoming to new colleagues. It is important to us that everyone feels included and happy.

The rehab clinic is centrally located in Munkedal in the same building as the health center, which means we always have close contact and good collaboration with them. We always focus on the best interests of the patient and actively work on development and continuous improvements.

About the job

Your tasks are to assess and treat patients of all ages. Common conditions you will encounter as a physiotherapist include: issues and injuries from the entire musculoskeletal system, pain, neurology, sports and exercise injuries, and mental health issues. The job also includes prescribing assistive devices. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is created.

The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some work can be done remotely. Treatment of patients occurs both individually and in groups.

The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for the development of the operations in a continuously ongoing improvement process.

About you

You are a licensed physiotherapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is advantageous, but we also welcome new graduates.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. You can plan your work efficiently and in an organized manner based on the goals of the operation. As the workload varies and unforeseen events may arise, we see that you are flexible and independent. For you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work. About the recruitment process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager makes a second selection of applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
