Description

The area of operations VO9 - Imaging and Functional Medicine (BFM) consists of nuclear medicine, intervention center, and radiology. The operations are conducted at the hospitals in Lidköping and Skövde. Annually, 140,000 examinations are performed in the departments.

In nuclear medicine in Skövde, we perform about 1800 of a couple of dozen different functional examinations per year. We are a team of about ten employees consisting of biomedical analysts, hospital physicists, radiologists, nurses, radiographers, and medical secretaries who closely collaborate to perform patient examinations and quality and development work to achieve our common goal - fast and safe diagnostics combined with good care. Nuclear medicine is open during daytime from Monday to Friday and is a developing, positive, and joyful workplace with engaged employees.

Responsibilities

You will independently and together with colleagues perform a variety of nuclear medicine functional examinations. The work also includes the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and sample collections. Image processing and reconstructions are also part of our routine work. Quality and method development is an ongoing process that everyone is a part of. Some rotation towards radiology may be relevant.

Qualifications

We are looking for a radiographer with an interest in nuclear medicine. We appreciate initiative, innovative thinking, and precision, as well as the ability to work in a structured manner. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Your tasks and daily contact with people require you to be adaptable and enjoy collaborating. In addition to education and experience, we will place great emphasis on personality and suitability.
