Are you a nursing assistant interested in creating meaningfulness for people with dementia every day? Then a job with us might be right for you!

As a nursing assistant with us, you will have an exciting and developing job. Some days you need to be a detective, other days an actor. Every day you make a difference in several people's lives.

Villa Videbeck floor 2 is a special accommodation for people with dementia. Here there are 4 wings with nine apartments. We work based on each individual's specific needs and ensure that the individual's own strengths are utilized. We are now looking for you who want to work with us and share our values and have a great interest in care for dementia.

Job responsibilities

Together we work to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for each individual. We work with person-centered care, contact management, social interaction, and provide support in medical tasks. You work independently and have good collaboration skills and actively participate in our team work. Your work includes ongoing documentation and responsibility for implementation plans. We use the BPSD registry with response plans and Senior Alert as tools.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and can work independently and in a team. Having previously worked and/or having in-depth knowledge and training in the field of dementia is an advantage. You have a good ability to create security and to meet and understand individuals' needs. For you, it is natural to have a professional approach in your work where you always put the person at the center. You are confident and attentive in your professional role. You are positive and take responsibility for the operation. You contribute to a good work environment and your own development.

Since social documentation and communication are important in your work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish as well as good computer skills.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from a previous employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023.
• Proficiency in Swedish in speech and writing as well as good reading comprehension.
• Basic digital competence.

Meritorious:

• Diploma from the College of Health and Care.
• Experience of similar work and/or education in dementia.
• Experience in documentation.

Other

We are looking for a nursing assistant for a permanent position, 100%. The employer offers full-time but there is the possibility for the desired degree of employment.

You will work scheduled hours day/evening/weekend. Start date by agreement. Selection is ongoing during the recruitment period.

To be employed as a nursing assistant, you need to attach proof of protected professional title or a certificate from your current employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023.
