Description

We are looking for a Specialist Dentist for the Endodontics Specialist Clinic in Mölndal.

Our clinic is part of the Specialist Clinic for Dental Physiology, Endodontics, Oral Prosthetics, and Periodontology, Specialist Dental Care Mölndal, Mölndal Hospital.

The clinic serves as a referral center and conducts consultation activities both physically and digitally. Clinical observations of general dental care personnel from the Västra Götaland region are a natural part of the clinical everyday life.

The clinic is a mixed clinic with Dental Physiology, Endodontics, Oral Prosthetics, and Periodontology and one of five specialist clinics at Folktandvården SU/Mölndal, where assisting staff also have cross-specialty tasks. Furthermore, the clinic participates in the region's ST training program within various specialties.

The clinic has 19 employees. In the Endodontics department in Mölndal, we currently have 1 specialist dentist and 1 dental nurse. The clinic needs to expand its specialist staffing.

Qualifications

Specialist Dentist in Endodontics or ST Dentist in the final phase of specialist training in Endodontics.

Description

Specialist dental care is represented throughout the Västra Götaland region mainly at five specialist houses that offer specialist dental care in all specialties. In addition, Folktandvården conducts extensive ST training. In collaboration with the Department of Dentistry at Sahlgrenska Academy, we are investing in the future of dentistry by conducting patient-centered research.

At the Endodontics Specialist Clinic in Mölndal, we conduct extensive patient activities in all areas of endodontics. To some extent, we work with anesthetic dental care in nearby facilities at Mölndal Hospital. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, but with shorter hours on Fridays. The clinic's main mission is to treat patients on referral. Part of the mission is also dedicated to consultations to and in general dental care through both physical and digital meetings.

At the clinic, we work in a positive spirit where teamwork and development of the business are natural elements. We are curious and find challenges and innovation exciting. We strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work and benefit greatly from specialists in other subjects on the same floor.

Job Responsibilities

In the position of specialist dentist, in addition to clinical work, clinical supervision and consultations with general dental care are included. The position is full-time, but the working hours can be discussed. As a specialist dentist with us, your main tasks will be to provide high-quality care to referral patients, support caregivers in the form of consultations and training, and develop endodontic care. The assignment also includes clinical supervision. Work may potentially also be relevant at the Odontologens Endodontic Clinic.
