About us

Närhälsan Munkedal Health Center is a well-functioning health center with a stable staff group that takes care of approximately 8,500 registered patients.

At the health center, five general practitioners, four training doctors, a licensed physician, as well as nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation coordinators, care coordinators, medical secretaries, podiatry specialists, and psychologists work. We also have a child health center at the family center. We also have the Young Mental Health unit, which involves teamwork with psychologists, psychotherapists, and social workers aimed at children aged 6-17 with mental health issues.

In our building, there is also a youth clinic and Närhälsan rehabilitation clinic, with which we have a close collaboration. We continuously work on improvement efforts both in clinical work and to maintain a good work environment where we care for each other, thrive, and develop. About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work independently and variably with outpatient work. Guidance is provided by an experienced specialist, who offers you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities. About you

You are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care and general medicine.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and has a good attitude since you will meet many different patients at the health center. You enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

The position is a temporary contract for 6 months, with a possible extension and ST training.

For those who have trained as doctors abroad and have not completed AT in Sweden to obtain a medical license, the new regulations regarding Basic Training (Bastjänstgöring) from July 1, 2021, apply. Basic Training for doctors (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of the specialization training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means that you need to complete BT before or as an introductory part of your ST.
