Do you believe in great opportunities within sustainable development for public meals? Do you enjoy spreading knowledge and working in networks with the public sector, researchers, businesses, authorities, and other organizations? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

In the area of sustainable meals at RISE, we currently have a strong team of six people working with collaboration, networking, development, and innovation, both in project form and as shorter assignments. We manage, among other things, the operations of Måltid Sverige and Skolmatsakademin, as well as national and international research and innovation projects.

We are now looking for a fixed-term dietitian with a strong commitment to public meals and to the individuals who work daily with good, healthy, and sustainable meals in schools, care, and social services.

The position is a fixed-term employment at 100% for 7 months.

About the roleAs a dietitian in the area of public meal development, you will participate in the implementation of collaborative projects where you contribute based on your expertise and experience in health, nutrition, and sustainability to achieve the project's goals and activities. If necessary, you will lead sub-projects or shorter client assignments. You have an interest in developing ideas for new projects and applications together with others in the group and with external collaborators. You are also comfortable representing RISE's operations in the field in various contexts, both internally and externally.

The position is located at the Department of Food, Unit for Food Consumption in Gothenburg. Start date by agreement – no later than February 1st.

Furthermore, you are unpretentious and social with a strong communicative ability. You enjoy meeting and engaging people and are comfortable giving presentations and lectures in various contexts.

Essential requirements

  • Education in dietetics, nutrition, and/or food science

  • Work experience in public meal development and/or work within hospitals and municipalities

  • Good knowledge of meal-related work in public operations

  • Good knowledge of health, food, and the environment

  • Experience in digital communication, such as layout, website updates, and social media management

  • Ability to express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

  • Experience working closely with care and social services personnel within the region and/or municipality
