Description

The LARO clinic is a part of Adult Psychiatry where we meet and treat individuals with opioid dependence.

The treatment is recommended by the National Board of Health and Welfare and is continuously evolving, including the introduction of new types of medications on the market. We work with motivation among patients, and the patient group varies from cases requiring intensive work to pure success stories. The team consists of caregivers, nurses, doctors, and medical secretaries. Access to a psychologist is also available. We have a person-centered approach where care is planned and executed in consultation with the patient, relatives, outpatient care, municipalities, and other partners.

We are now expanding our team with an occupational therapist with training as a rehabilitation coordinator who is interested in working in this area. The LARO clinic is also adjacent to our psychiatric inpatient care.

Responsibilities

The work is based at LARO, primarily focusing on rehabilitation coordination. The role is new at the clinic, and there are good opportunities to influence its content. The work will also be directed towards psychiatric inpatient care, particularly based on occupational therapy competence.

Working as an occupational therapist in psychiatric inpatient care is a varied job. Here, you will work with the entire occupational therapy process from assessment/investigation, goal setting, to proposals for possible measures and follow-up based on psychiatric needs. Your role is to provide occupational therapy knowledge and support colleagues with assessments and recommendations for rehabilitation measures.

You will be part of a network of occupational therapists within adult psychiatry where you will also participate in peer supervision.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with training as a rehabilitation coordinator.

We expect you to be responsible, able to take initiative, and driven. At the same time, you value good collaboration with colleagues and other partners. You put the patient's best interests at the center and are responsive to their needs.

As the position sometimes involves driving, a valid B driver's license is required.
