The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3000 employees work with us every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare of the highest quality.

Description

In the Surgical and Orthopedic departments, we work with both acute and elective care.

In the Orthopedic department, we care for patients who have fractures, suffer from back pain, or have undergone amputations.

In the Surgical department, we care for patients who have abdominal pain, malignancies, or urological problems. The Surgical department also has five palliative care spots.

In the departments, nurses and nursing assistants work together in a wonderful and cohesive team. We also have close collaboration with other professions and units within the hospital to create the best possible care for our patients.

As a nurse within the Surgery and Orthopedics area, you have the opportunity to influence and make a difference for patients in your daily work.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience working in a care department is an advantage. We expect you to have a good ability to plan and coordinate your work. Your working style is characterized by being driven, independent, and flexible. Additionally, you prefer to work in a team and therefore have good collaboration skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours

The position is full-time and covers all hours of the day during the period 260601 - 260831.
