We at Sörmarksgatan 207 are a wonderful team consisting of nursing assistants, caregivers, managers, and coordinators. The Short-Term Unit Sörmarksgatan 207 has 44 places and receives individuals with somatic diseases, rehabilitation needs, cognitive impairments, and individuals with extensive care needs and/or palliative care. You and your colleagues in the team, consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, work cross-professionally to achieve the individual's goals during the short-term stay.

A short-term stay is an assessed support according to the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. Decisions regarding short-term stays are always time-limited and are continuously followed up during the stay.

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with good experience in care and support. We see that you want to continue developing in your professional role as we offer a varied and stimulating job.

You provide personal care and perform health and medical interventions by delegation. The work includes care and palliative care, quick medical assessments, and treatments. You handle medical equipment and advanced care. You perform daily documentation according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Care Act, as well as design implementation plans. Documentation is done in the operational system VIVA. 

Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including holidays.

In the short-term operations, both needs and conditions can change quickly. Therefore, the work requires a flexible approach. The work is carried out both independently and together with other colleagues.

You are a trained nursing assistant with an interest in working with people. You have a genuine interest in care and support work and are open to change so that we can continue to develop the operations together.

Basic computer skills are required as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Since needs and conditions can change rapidly, it is necessary that you enjoy being prepared to think differently and prioritize in your professional role. Furthermore, it is required that you can work both independently and in collaboration with various colleagues. We place great importance on personal suitability and see flexibility, collaboration, and a good attitude as important qualities.

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to use the title nursing assistant. You apply for the certificate on the National Board of Health and Welfare's website, which you must present upon a potential employment. If you have caregiver training, you will be employed as a caregiver.

We primarily intend to recruit for a permanent position, but temporary positions in the form of substitutes or special fixed-term employment may also be relevant.
