We are looking for a registered nurse for ward 96 at Brinkåsen, which has been operational since February 2025 – an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team at the forefront!

About us

The Forensic Psychiatry at Brinkåsen in Vänersborg is part of NU Health Care within the Västra Götaland Region – one of Sweden's largest healthcare providers.

Here, we work in modern, bright, and purpose-built facilities surrounded by beautiful nature with proximity to both lakes and forests. There are currently five wards on the site with different specializations, and we have now opened a brand new ward where you have the chance to be involved from the start!

Your role as a nurse

As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and responsible job where you have overall responsibility for the nursing work in your care team. You will work with medical interventions, patient contact, supervision of colleagues, and collaboration with other professional groups. We always work with individualized care where the patient's participation is at the center. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekend shifts every other weekend.

You will work in a safe and developing environment where we value your competence and provide you with tools to grow in your professional role.

Who are you?

We are looking for a registered nurse with an interest in psychiatry/forensic psychiatric care. Experience in psychiatry is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you are curious, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. We welcome both newly graduated and experienced nurses!

Other

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date according to agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, so do not wait to submit your application!
