About us

The Midwifery Clinic in Tranemo and Svenljunga is part of an area with midwifery clinics in Mark and Ulricehamn. We also collaborate with Bollebygd and Borås and the clinics in the Alingsås area.

The midwifery clinics in Mark, Svenljunga, Tranemo, and Ulricehamn have a common manager and work closely together, for example through joint workplace meetings and the same telephone system (ACE). The entire area is HBTQ-certified, and we operate according to ISO management and quality system 9001:2015.

Currently, three midwives staff the midwifery clinics in Tranemo and Svenljunga, which are located adjacent to their respective health centers and family centers.

About the job

As a midwife, you will work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties will include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell sample checks, contraceptive counseling, vaccinations for pregnant women, STI prevention work, and group parental support. You will also engage in telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and supervision of students. Our mission also includes collaboration with the family center.

About you

We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience from working in a midwifery clinic is considered an asset. As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have good cooperation skills. You also have a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues. Personal suitability for the position is of great importance.

Conditions

The position is a permanent employment within VGR. It is a full-time position based at the midwifery clinics in Svenljunga and Tranemo during a parental leave lasting 1–1.5 years. After that, another placement may be possible.
