Description

We are now in need of a caregiver for our NIP team, Newly Diagnosed with Psychotic Disorder, which works multi-professionally with newly diagnosed psychotic patients.

This is a person-centered job focusing on resource group work where care is planned and executed in consultation with the patient, relatives, the municipality, and other partners. The work includes crisis intervention, family and relative support, case management, psychoeducation, and health-promoting initiatives. The work is largely mobile, and we meet the patient where they are.

This is an exciting area that is stimulating and challenging, where collaboration with other professionals is as important as being able to work independently. The team consists of caregivers, nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and dietitians.

Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver in the NIP team, you will work as a primary care contact and function as the spider in the web around the patients. Together with the team, decisions will be made regarding which interventions are relevant. You are also an important person regarding collaboration and partnerships with other actors.

We will help you get started with introduction and guidance from engaged and competent colleagues. The clinic also offers weekly regular internal training sessions where all professions within inpatient care contribute to deepening knowledge in psychiatry.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained caregiver/nursing assistant. Experience in psychotic care is an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is positive and open to seeing the individual patient's needs and has the ability to make independent decisions.
