JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In home care, you work to provide support and good, safe care to clients based on their individual needs and wishes in their own homes. At Bjärke home care, we work from a salutogenic perspective, which means we start from the client's own resources and abilities.

You will work from your unit and follow routines and implementation plans that describe what actions should be performed. The tasks vary depending on the client's needs and can include everything from personal care and assistance, alarm management, and delegated health care tasks to social interaction. You will also be present as a contact person during welcome conversations, establish and follow up implementation plans, maintain contact with relatives, and document according to applicable legislation in our digital systems.

In your role as a care assistant, you will work independently but also collaborate with your colleagues to achieve the goals of the organization. You will work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained care assistant with a protected professional title
• Have good computer skills
• Master the Swedish language well both in speech and writing
• Hold a B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in elderly care or other healthcare activities

You are used to working via digital platforms and follow the workplace's action plans, policies, and guidelines as well as the provisions of the Social Services Act according to SoL §1:1. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is empathetic, engaged, calm, and responsible, and has a strong interest in working with people. You have the ability to collaborate with others to perform tasks and achieve common goals. You express yourself clearly both orally and in writing and have the ability to convey ideas and information in a structured and adapted manner, depending on the recipient and situation. With your interest in understanding and respecting others' perspectives, you contribute to creating a positive and respectful work environment.

The position as a care assistant includes scheduled working hours, which means work during the day, evening, and weekends.
