About the Department

We are now looking for a permanent Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team at Ward 14! We are a day surgery department caring for patients in Plastic Surgery, Lung Surgery, Tumor Orthopedics, Urology, and Ear-Nose-Throat.

With us, you will encounter a varied patient flow and work closely with inpatient care. We are also responsible for admissions before surgery, making the work both varied and developmental.

Job Responsibilities

As a healthcare assistant with us, you will have a varied and responsible role where you are an important part of the team and the patient's care process. Your responsibilities include pre- and post-operative care, practical tasks such as taking samples, EKGs, and NEWS checks, contributing to a safe and professional care environment, as well as close collaboration with nurses, doctors, and coordinators to ensure a well-functioning care chain.

With us, you will also have the opportunity to develop in several surgical areas and participate in improvement work for better care.

About You

You are a healthcare assistant with an interest in surgery, preferably in our specialties. You appreciate a fast-paced work environment and see the whole picture for the patient during their care. You have experience working in a hospital, preferably in surgical specialties. We prefer candidates who have a collaborative as well as independent working style. Personal qualities are highly valued. Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
