Description

Do you want to work in an exciting and challenging environment with a varied daily routine? We are now looking for a specialist in oral surgery who has a good ability to collaborate with both colleagues and patients and their families.

Specialist dental care is represented throughout Västra Götaland and offers specialist dental care in all specialties. In addition, Folktandvården conducts extensive ST training.

Folktandvården Västra Götaland has, in collaboration with the Department of Dentistry/Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, initiated a unique initiative that provides excellent conditions for conducting patient-centered research throughout the region. The research conducted at the department is of the highest international level. Within University Dental Care, there is also collaboration on the clinical basic education of dentists and specialist training.

The specialist clinic for oral surgery, Odontologen, has a broad field of activity. The clinic has just over 40 employees. The care panorama spans everything from highly specialized care in collaboration with Sahlgrenska University Hospital to dentoalveolar surgery. We conduct patient-centered research and development focused on tumor, reconstruction, and orthognathic surgery. There is very close collaboration with all dental specialties and some medical specialties. We also staff a round-the-clock emergency service together with the oral surgeon in Mölndal and Borås. We also provide supervision for ST dentists, training for dental students, and have an external course operation.

Responsibilities

As a specialist dentist, you will be part of the clinic's daily operations. You will participate in the oral surgical emergency service and take part in the clinic's ST and training activities, as well as ongoing development work.

Qualifications
