We are now looking for an engaged dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and proper interaction

Main tasks and responsibilities

We work hard for a workplace where everyone is stimulated and works at the top of their competence, and in this, the dental nurse plays a central role. Therefore, we need to expand with more dental nurses who share our vision that the dental nursing profession consists of more than assistance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments.
• Developing delegated work methods such as scanning in prosthetic treatments or digital health-promoting care meetings.
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments.
• Reception work and sterilization work may occur.

Folktandvården Gibraltar is a clinic with 11 treatment rooms. Currently, we have 8 dentists, 7 dental hygienists, 10 dental nurses, 3 receptionists, and 2 in clinic management. The clinic is centrally located in Gothenburg with very good transport links and parking opportunities. Competence requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education).
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care.
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.
• Ability to independently manage administration.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely.
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly trained dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are planned for week 8.
