We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and proper treatment

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Selma, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting in examinations, screenings, and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, impression taking, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in the sterilization area and reception
• Managing your own areas of responsibility

We also accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg, which may involve supervising/assisting students as part of the role.

Currently, we have a total of 33 employees. We have 9 treatment rooms and are located in beautiful premises at Selma Lagerlöfs Torg.

We work in shifts, which means you will work 3 days from 06:50 to 15:20 and 2 days from 10:40 to 19:10. Please read more about our opening hours and how to find us: Selma, Gothenburg - Folktandvården

Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with an education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week XX.
