We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and positive interaction

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

At Folktandvården Älvängen, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The role includes, among other things:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or adjustment treatments
• Working in the sterilization area and reception

In Älvängen, we work in shifts, which means the clinic is open from 7 AM to 7 PM Monday to Thursday and until 5 PM on Fridays.

We utilize everyone's skills in the best way, and all staff have defined areas of responsibility. For many years, we have been conducting continuous development work at the clinic. The doors are open, and we have good communication among our employees.

With us, you will work with a wide variety of pediatric and adult dental care in close collaboration with the clinic's other skilled and ambitious staff. We focus on our customers/patients, the clinic as a unit, and the clinic's results.

Competence Requirements and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to maintain a stable and calm demeanor even when busy
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the operation by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 7 and 8.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
