We need to strengthen our dental nurse staffing.

We are looking for positive dental nurses, newly graduated or experienced, who understand the importance of good service and a warm welcome to the Specialist Clinic for Orofacial Medicine and Pedodontics in Borås.

About us

The Orofacial Medicine and Pedodontics Borås is co-located at Södra Älvsborg Hospital, Borås. Across the street, there is all other specialist dental care except for Orthodontics, which is located in central Borås.

The clinic is a referral center for general dental care, medical care, and specialist dental care. The clinic has a broad treatment panorama with close and good collaboration with both hospital departments and public and private general dental care as well as all other specialist dental care. The clinic also conducts consulting activities for both public and private dental care.

We have about 30 employees in total. The clinic has 10 treatment rooms. We are a well-established team with good cohesion and a pleasant working environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Assist in conventional treatments, surgeries, nitrous oxide, and anesthesia treatments.
• Clinic administrative tasks
• Other tasks occurring at the clinic.

Collaboration with other specialist dental clinics and the hospital's operations constitutes a large part of our daily planning, which is why cooperation and quick changes within our own clinic are prerequisites.

We work in a positive spirit where teamwork and development of the business are natural elements. We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work.

Competence requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education).
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• The ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely.
• Independently manage administration.
• Be able to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• The ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive manner.

You are used to and enjoy collaborating with other colleagues and learning and finding solutions together. We value your flexibility in your working methods and your ability to prioritize in stressful situations.

The work requires a professional approach to the clinic's patients based on respect, responsiveness, and empathy.

As a person, you are meticulous and have a sense of structure and planning. We value your good ability to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. We are happy to tell you more about our working process when we speak.

Interviews are planned for weeks 9 and 10.
