JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, your mission is to provide support that promotes self-determination, participation, and good living conditions. You work based on the individual's needs and rights, with respect for integrity and a focus on a good and safe life. You will work closely with the tenants and provide individual support in daily life. You will help design implementation plans, create structure and clarity in everyday life, and use methods such as low-arousal responses and clarifying pedagogy. You document according to applicable laws and guidelines and collaborate with relatives, colleagues, and other professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education and experience in care and support, as well as good knowledge of LSS and its values. You have experience and knowledge in low-arousal responses, clarifying pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and preferably also motivational interviewing (MI). You are self-assured, empathetic, and capable of building good relationships. You can work both independently and in a team, are flexible and solution-oriented, and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
