About the job
Furuhemmet HVB is a small family-oriented accommodation, centrally located in Partille, with 8 places distributed across two properties, aimed at children and young people aged 9 to 13 with varying issues.
We are now looking for an experienced treatment staff for a full-time position, as well as two part-time substitutes who are passionate about a low-arousal approach and a structured working method combined with plenty of activities and cozy time with the children. With us, you will have the chance to develop with the support of experienced managers, full treatment responsibility, supervision, and professional development.
The operation is based on TMO (trauma-informed care). The children may have experienced violence, crises, and care deficiencies. They may also exhibit acting-out behavior in interactions with others and/or have neuropsychiatric disabilities. The children's issues are extensive and require professional support that cannot be provided at home/foster care.
While the child resides at Furuhemmet, the goal is for the child to receive support to develop new skills and strategies so that their everyday life becomes understandable, manageable, and meaningful. The child should also be prepared for the next step, which may be returning home to the biological family or to foster care. A significant part of the work as a part-time substitute at Furuhemmet involves network work and collaboration with family, social services, school, and healthcare.
As a treatment staff/part-time substitute at Furuhemmet, you are part of creating a safe and predictable environment for the children. This requires you to be a secure and unpretentious person with the children's long-term positive development in focus. We want you to have experience working with children and young people and have the competence to adapt your approach and treatment work based on the child's needs and abilities.
The work includes social documentation and medication management.
Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends, as well as sleeping on-call duties.
You will need to provide a police certificate without remarks before employment can begin.
Start date is to be agreed upon.
A driver's license is required.
Good Swedish in speech and writing is required.
We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not wait to submit your application.
