Our Technical Trainee Program

Is designed to give you a solid start to your career in a unique and socially important industry. During the program, you will gain both broad and deep knowledge about LFV and our technical areas while building a valuable network.

About the Trainee Program

This year, we offer nine exciting roles, seven as system engineers and two as project managers. Please read more here.

The program lasts for about 9 months and combines practical experience with education, projects, and real challenges. You will receive support from your manager, training coordinator, mentor, as well as experienced colleagues and other trainees. Together, we work to create the best conditions for your development.

As a trainee at LFV, you are a full-time employee (with a probationary period) from day one and receive salary and benefits just like everyone else.

The trainee program starts with a kickoff on September 1, 2026.

After completing the trainee program, you will continue your journey at LFV in your regular role as a system engineer or project manager.

Do you also have a positive attitude and want to contribute to something greater?

Then you are right for our trainee program if you also have:

• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship (requirement due to classified work)
• For system engineers, a post-secondary education in IT or engineering (e.g., computer science, data engineering, electronics, networks, IT security) – or equivalent work experience
• For project managers, a technical college or university degree – or equivalent work experience

Our recruitment process is competence-based, and the subsequent process includes selection, tests, and interviews, ensuring that all candidates are treated equally and fairly.

Before employment, we conduct a security check that includes a background check, drug test, and security interview.
