Your Responsibilities

Step into a dynamic role where you drive innovation and quality in a fully equipped metallurgical laboratory in Finspång. You will be part of a diverse team of 30 professionals, including materials engineers, technicians, experts, and chemical engineers, all working together in a state-of-the-art laboratory. The team thrives in a diverse, dynamic, and inclusive environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central to every project.

As a Project Metallurgist, you will:

• Conduct metallographic examinations of various gas turbine components related to failure analysis, deviations, quality assurance, and production development

• Support R&D projects in close collaboration with engineers and experts to drive innovation

• Shape your responsibilities based on your strengths and interests, contributing to both daily operations and long-term projects

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence your own work, develop your skills, contribute to both production and R&D, and make a real difference in energy technology.

Your Profile

• You have a master's degree in materials science, metallurgy, or a related field

• You are curious, eager to learn, and a good team player with strong communication skills

• You are fluent in English; Swedish is a plus

• You are meticulous, analytical, and structured

• You enjoy collaborating in teams but can also work independently
