The Company

The client is a global technology company that develops solutions for energy production, transmission, and storage. They work with everything from gas turbines and power plants to sustainable energy systems like wind power and hydrogen. The company is a spin-off and operates in over 90 countries. In Sweden, this company is particularly strong in power generation and industrial energy solutions, including in Finspång.

Role Description

As a designer, you will have a varied and problem-solving daily routine where you drive and coordinate technical issues from production and service. You will work closely with structural engineers, cooling specialists, and service personnel to analyze deviations, identify root causes, and propose technical solutions. The role also includes participation in technical and project meetings where you can often take a leading role.

Responsibilities:

Drive and coordinate issues from production and service, with support from other technical groups
Investigate error reports and deviations, identify root causes, and propose solutions
Create concepts, detailed designs, and revise existing designs
Formulate responses and documentation in SAP and create standard templates
Participate in and sometimes lead technical, informational, and project meetings, as well as collaborate with service personnel during root cause analyses

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, technical physics, mechanical design, or equivalent
Some experience with CAD
Good knowledge of 2D drawings

Experience/knowledge of handling component machining
Experience with CAD tools
