Summer Temporary Positions in Social Psychiatry and Addiction

About the Operations:

As a temporary employee, you will be hired by the HR unit for competence supply and salary. We need temporary staff who can work both at short notice and with longer planning. We are now looking for summer temporary staff for Allén's accommodation, housing support, and the support accommodation Runristaren who can work at least four consecutive weeks during the summer period, weeks 24-33, and preferably extra as a substitute already this spring.

The housing support offers assistance for the target group within social psychiatry and is a service that operates during the day, Monday to Friday.

Allén's accommodation is a residence with special services according to SoL within social psychiatry. The service is aimed at adults with mental illness and/or neuropsychiatric functional variations.

The support accommodation Runristaren is a support accommodation for people with social psychiatric and/or addiction problems. The work takes place in close collaboration with the municipality's outpatient care, where we offer psychosocial treatment and addiction treatment.

Job Responsibilities:

As a substitute, you have an important and meaningful job where you make a difference and affect people's everyday lives every day. The tasks vary depending on the area of operation, but the common goal is always to focus on the customer's best interests.

Housing support is primarily about motivation and support. As a housing supporter, you visit our customers and coach them in a pedagogical and motivating way to plan and structure their everyday lives. We coach our customers in everyday tasks, planning purchases, various types of errands, contacting authorities and healthcare providers, and if necessary, accompany them to scheduled meetings. The housing support works with the ESL method, an independent life. The work is based on the individual's needs and within the framework of the individual assignment.

At Allén's accommodation, you work independently with customers, but in close collaboration with the coordinator and others in the team. Your main tasks consist of customer-related work in the form of individually tailored support such as social support, structure, ADL, medication distribution, and some care. The main work takes place in the customers' apartments, but you will also support customers with visits and errands outside the home. The accommodation is staffed around the clock with sleeping on-call duty at night. As a substitute, you may be offered shifts both during the day and at night.

At Runristaren, your main tasks consist of customer-related work in the form of individually tailored support such as social support, structure, planning, and ADL. The main workplace is at the accommodation, but you will also support customers with visits and meetings outside the accommodation, e.g., at healthcare facilities, authority contacts, etc. You will also be involved in managing daily household chores and other common tasks in a residence. The accommodation has round-the-clock staffing with sleeping on-call duty at night. As a substitute, you may be offered shifts both during the day and at night. At Runristaren, you work independently on-site at the accommodation.

What is common to all units is that the work is very varied and stimulating and requires the ability to work flexibly and independently.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, able to speak, read, write, and understand instructions in Swedish.
• Driver's license (B)
• Experience of previous work in similar operations or with similar target groups
• Meritorious with or ongoing education in care and nursing, social work, psychology, or pedagogy
• Meritorious experience from work in the disability field and preferably mental health.
• Meritorious knowledge of psychiatric/neuropsychiatric functional variations, as well as addiction problems
• Meritorious if you have relevant education in the field, as well as training in low-affect responses, ESL, and MI
