Business Developer in the Swedish Armed Forces Logistics

Logistics must be efficient and ensure high availability for all types of supplies throughout Sweden, which means that production, planning, and customer support are also important parts of our work.
About the Department
The tasks of the Staff Department are to provide support that facilitates leadership, management, and decision-making through staff methods in planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation. We contribute through expertise, environmental monitoring, impact analysis, and decision support. We support the unit's management and departments in our joint work to develop the unit's operations, where challenges vary as the Armed Forces change both in the short and long term.
Main Responsibilities
As a business developer, you will be part of a team, sharing responsibility for driving quality, process, and development work. You will work on developing working methods, coordination, processes, mapping, and analysis. You are a key function and will be a close support to the unit's management groups, departments, and other roles. You will practically work with business development activities, investigations, and analyses, which requires good administrative skills, a communicative approach, and preferably experience in writing formal documents clearly. You will support with documentation, initiate development areas within the various assignments of the operations, and be a support for the management group before decisions. The position may also include other temporary tasks. The work involves travel within the country.
We are looking for a business developer with the task to:
- Lead and coordinate ongoing development work
- Represent the unit in development within the Armed Forces
- Plan and implement development within the unit
- Support in follow-up and analysis of operations
- Coordinate quality and business development functions within the unit
- Search, analyze information, and suggest improvements
- Facilitate and hold workshops
Qualifications
- Academic education preferably in logistics, service design, project management, or equivalent education assessed by the employer
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
- Good knowledge of the Office suite
- Driver's license (manual transmission)
Meritorious
- Experience in project management, leading groups, and development assignments
- Experience from staff work
- Experience in change management
- Experience with methods and tools in process development, problem-solving, and business development
- Experience working in Visio and similar process planning programs
- Experience writing in report format for more formal documents

- The position is a permanent full-time employment (the Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority)
