Experienced Business Controller Wanted

We are now looking for an experienced Business Controller for a consulting assignment with our client in the defense industry in Arboga. The assignment is for approximately 6 months and is aimed at those who thrive in a business-oriented role with significant responsibility and close collaboration with the operations.

About the Position

In the role of Business Controller, you will work closely with management and operational activities to ensure financial governance, monitoring, and decision support in a complex and project-intensive environment.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Ongoing financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work.
• Support for managers and project leaders in financial matters.
• Analysis of deviations, costs, and profitability.
• Development and improvement of financial processes, routines, and models.
• Participation in monthly and annual financial closing.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.

Who Are You?

• Relevant academic education in finance.
• Several years of experience working as a Business Controller or equivalent.
• Good understanding of accounting, costing, and financial analysis.
• Experience working closely with operations and providing decision support.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and financial systems.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
