Quality Officer at FMLOG Supply Mid

Logistics must be efficient and ensure high availability for all types of supplies throughout Sweden, which means that production, planning, and customer support are also important parts of our work.

About the Department

The staff department's tasks are to provide support that facilitates management, governance, and decision-making through staff methods in planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation. We contribute through expertise, environmental monitoring, impact analysis, and decision support. We support the unit's departments in our joint work to develop the unit's operations, where challenges vary as the Armed Forces change both in the short and long term.

We are looking for a Quality Officer with the task to:

  • Develop the unit's systematic quality work
  • Further develop the unit's management system
  • Follow up and ensure the quality of the unit's work and support departments during controls and with analyses related to quality.
  • Initiate and drive improvement work and process development

To accomplish the above, you need to work in a structured and systematic way and have a talent for analyzing and drawing conclusions from the information and results you have collected. You are clear, flexible, and can perform under time pressure when required. You have an easy time expressing yourself in communication, both orally and in writing. You will be part of a team together with other quality functions.

As an officer at FMLOG Supply Mid, you contribute to ensuring legal requirements and support, follow up, and develop the unit's work so that the rear logistics regarding storage and supply of material works at all levels of readiness. This means that the position may temporarily include other tasks in addition to those mentioned above. You will participate in various projects, develop routines, conduct follow-ups, and handle referrals and other documents.

You will work to implement changes decided by the Armed Forces in the operations to achieve the desired results and ensure follow-up. The work involves a lot of collaboration within the unit, with other parts of the unit, and also with other parts of the Armed Forces. The work involves travel within the country.

Qualifications

  • Academic education or qualified vocational training in technology, quality, economics, or another relevant field
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Driving license B (manual transmission)

Meritorious

  • Documented work experience in similar positions where you have worked with systematic quality work
  • Experience with management systems, processes, and work with ISO standards
  • Experience in writing, reviewing, and revising routines and instructions
  • Familiarity with audits, preferably trained auditor
  • Experience from support systems such as SAP (PRIO) and/or process planning programs such as Visio
  • Experience in staff work

You are meticulous, methodical, and have the ability to see connections in complex information, to think outside the box and find solutions. You take initiative and personal responsibility, are comfortable working independently, but also collaborating with others. You are service-oriented, have an easy time contacting people and understanding others' situations, listening, understanding, and showing consideration to collaboratively find solutions with a focus on the common goal. You can organize your work so that you plan, implement, complete, and follow up on what has been started. You enjoy varied tasks and sometimes high work pressure. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

  • The position is a permanent full-time employment (the Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority)
