What the role entails

As a technical communicator, you will be responsible for developing, describing, and optimizing methods for service, troubleshooting, and repair of modern vehicles and trains. You will work closely with both customers and development teams, using CAD, diagnostic tools, and technical documentation to create solutions that streamline the work for service technicians worldwide. The work is primarily done in the office, but visits to workshops occur – giving you a unique insight into the latest technology in the automotive industry.

You will, among other things:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagnostic information, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with development teams and customers to ensure quality and usability
• Analyze the structure of vehicles and trains in a CAD environment and develop effective repair methods
• Structure and quality assure information in documentation systems (CMS/PLM)
• Contribute to the development of processes and working methods within technical information and diagnosis

Who you are

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a genuine interest in technology and the ability to see the big picture – from the structure of the vehicle to how the information best reaches the end user. You thrive in a role where you can combine analysis, problem-solving, and communication. We are looking for someone who has:

• 3 years of experience in technical writing within vehicles/trains or practical work (troubleshooting/repair) within vehicles/trains
• Good technical understanding of vehicles, trains, electronics, or mechatronics
• Ability to write clear technical information in Swedish and English
• A structured approach to work and curiosity about new technology

It is also an advantage if you speak German.
