Your Responsibilities

Your task is to support managers in the recruitment process from start to finish and all parts in between. You will work based on a competency-based and unbiased recruitment process. The assignments may involve recruiting employees, specialists, or managers. We are looking for someone who already has experience in recruitment but wants to deepen it by working with fourteen others who do the same as you, and who are passionate about matching skills and personality to roles and organizations.

With your expertise, you will find the most qualified candidates for the city's departments, such as care and social services, children and education, or technology and property. Your strength is customer service and being a consultative support throughout the process. We have a close collaboration within the unit, and you contribute to a positive work climate by generously sharing your knowledge and collaborating in an open-hearted and unpretentious manner.

Your Competence

Through your ability to take responsibility and be self-driven, you manage your recruitment processes with a focus on delivery and quality. To prioritize what is most important, you are flexible but also secure and humble in the face of challenges. You have good experience of the different parts of the recruitment process and several years of professional experience working in a service-oriented environment. We prefer that you have a post-secondary education in a relevant field, but the most important thing is that you have developed your expertise in workforce planning through work experience, for example in HR or labor market areas. It is a plus if you are certified in tools for personality or skills testing.

At the Recruitment and Employer Branding Unit, we are 25 HR consultants, assistants, and specialists who work every day to meet the entire city's recruitment needs, both now and in the future. We enjoy development and are currently working on several exciting projects, constantly focusing on improving our processes and services. You will work from our beautiful offices in Västerås City Hall with the possibility to work remotely part of the time. Together, we deliver high quality and always create the best possible meetings for customers, candidates, and colleagues.
