Do you want to work with advanced process technology and contribute to efficient and sustainable production? Welcome to Kretslopp and Vatten's Electrical Unit in drinking water production, where we are now looking for a qualified instrumentation engineer who wants to take a key role in our technical team and drive the development of measurement technology in our process facility.

Drinking water production is the department that produces drinking water around the clock, all year round. It is a socially important mission that we are proud to carry out. We are now looking for an instrumentation engineer for our two waterworks and associated outbuildings.

Responsibilities

In the operation, you will primarily work with:

  • Design, installation, and maintenance of instruments and control equipment
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving of instrument-related issues
  • Participating in projects from early stages to commissioning
  • Collaboration with suppliers and consultants.
  • Contributing to standardization and further development of the company's instrumentation strategy.
  • Evaluating and improving existing systems to optimize process efficiency
  • Providing support and further training to our operations in instrumentation

In your work, you will closely collaborate with colleagues in electrical, control, operations, and laboratory to solve our common mission.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced instrumentation engineer with relevant education in electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation, or other extensive experience in the field that we consider equivalent.

You have:

  • Extensive work experience as an instrumentation engineer
  • Good knowledge of instruments such as flow meters, level equipment, pressure sensors, pH meters, etc., within the water and wastewater or process industry
  • Attention to detail, structured, solution-focused, and good collaboration skills
  • Good computer skills with experience in CAD tools and documentation systems
  • A valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with various valve actuators
  • Experience with ABB control systems

As an instrumentation engineer, you will be able to both control and influence your work within given frameworks. You are self-driven, proactive, committed to completing what you start, and ensure that the work is done correctly. We constantly collaborate with other units in the administration and represent our unit in many investment projects. You thrive on collaboration and have a desire to get to know our facilities and colleagues to effectively develop the operations. Since we are working to improve our operations, we are looking for someone who seizes opportunities to think innovatively in work-related contexts and sees how this can be implemented in practice and lead to improvements.

The position is security classified and requires a successful security clearance, which includes drug and alcohol testing, background checks from the Security Police (Säpo), and that you hold Swedish citizenship.
