Vehicle Administrator at the Vehicle Unit

Do you have an interest in both administration and vehicles and thrive in a role where service, administrative tasks, and development go hand in hand? We are now looking for you to become our new colleague and work as a vehicle administrator in our Vehicle Unit.

The Role of Vehicle Administrator with Us

As a vehicle administrator, you will have a varied and responsible everyday life in an activity-based work environment. You will work proactively and service-oriented with both internal customers and our vehicles. Your assignment includes both financial administration and practical management of the vehicle fleet. You will work in a team of a total of 4 administrators.

Your responsibilities include:

• Renting vehicles to the municipality's departments
• Administering the municipality's car pool
• Handling incoming and outgoing invoices
• Working with damage management and insurance matters
• Planning service, inspections, and repairs
• Delivering statistics and working in Excel with larger data sets
• Providing support via phone and maintaining ongoing contact with operations
• Optimizing vehicle utilization
• Collaborating closely with our colleagues in the wash hall and vehicle workshop
• Supervising interns and work experience students

It is an advantage if you have user experience with our administrative system KomMa. If you do not have experience with this system, we expect you to learn it quickly and feel comfortable using it in your daily work.

Your Profile

To thrive with us, you are service-oriented, social, and have a proactive approach. You are structured, independent, take initiative, and find it easy to collaborate. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• has completed secondary education.
• has relevant documented experience in financial work.
• has very good IT skills.
• is highly skilled in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and graphical presentations.
• has a B driver's license.

It is an advantage:

• with relevant experience in customer support/advisory roles.
• with education focused on economics/administration or similar.
• with experience in the vehicle management system KomMa.

Teknikens hus, from which the Vehicle Unit operates, gathers about 180 employees from the departments of Service, Technology, Construction & Environment. We work together to create good conditions across departmental boundaries.

The Vehicle Unit consists of a total of nine people and includes our wash hall and vehicle workshop, forming a close-knit team of maintenance technicians, vehicle care specialists, and administrators managing the municipality's over 700 vehicles used by all municipal operations.

We offer a permanent position preferably starting on February 1, 2026, or by agreement.
