We are now looking for a Business Area Officer in Decommissioning and Waste Management for the waste unit at Ringhals, who will be responsible for the Program Fenix program manual and the waste management operations manual.
About Us
The Decommissioning and Waste Management department at Ringhals is responsible for the safe and cost-effective dismantling, demolition, and disposal of waste for Ringhals 1 and 2. The active waste unit handles all of Ringhals' low- and intermediate-level nuclear waste, which includes the entire physical waste flow and associated administration. The unit is also responsible for radiological decontamination of waste, components, and tools.
About the Job
As the responsible person for the Program Fenix program manual and the waste management operations manual, you will ensure that our processes and governing documentation are current, coherent, and communicated to our users. You will support the operations at Ringhals in matters related to our area of responsibility. Waste management from the nuclear operations is continuously developed, both to meet the needs arising in connection with the dismantling and demolition of Ringhals 1 and Ringhals 2, as well as to ensure safe and stable operations of Ringhals 3 and Ringhals 4.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and manage routines and processes for the operations – be responsible for the waste management operations manual and the Program Fenix program manual
- Follow up and coordinate chapter managers/area managers and ensure that we maintain high quality
- Ensure that our routines are appropriate, comply with regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines through ongoing follow-up
- Support in process efficiency
- Participate in ongoing waste planning for operations and decommissioning
Requirements
We would like you to have:
- A university degree in engineering or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience working with regulatory requirements, preferably from industry
- Experience working with management systems, business, and process development
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Experience working in nuclear operations is an advantage
