Väröbacka School is a growing F-9 school with 400 students. The school is located next to rolling fields in the community of Väröbacka between Kungsbacka and Varberg. It is important for us to work for community and well-being, where we together strengthen students' learning and inspire them to achieve their dreams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and qualified administrative officer, placed at Väröbacka School. We want you to share our ambition to be at the forefront and to be a natural part of the joint effort to create the best possible meeting for learning. You will constitute an important service function and work with administrative support at the school in close collaboration with the principal and other staff.

As an administrative officer, you will, together with other administrative colleagues within the preschool and primary school administration, participate in a joint development work around our administrative routines and processes, with the aim of creating effective and quality-assured operational support.

As an administrative officer, you will primarily work with school administration, i.e., student, grading, personnel, and financial administration. The work also includes substitute, mail, and document management as well as other recurring expedition work. The assignment may also include scheduling. You are the face of the organization and serve as a support function in all administrative systems, towards both staff and guardians.

You are expected to be able to prepare materials for the principal's analysis and decisions, make presentations, and produce statistics and survey results. It also involves regular review and updating of routines and guidelines.

The tasks vary in complexity/difficulty, which means that you can expect to work both with significant challenges and with simple routine matters such as correspondence, bookings, and calls.

QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant post-secondary degree in, for example, personnel and payroll administration, skilled user of the Office suite.

You are proactive and identify areas for development, take initiatives for changes and improvements, and dare to challenge for development and simplicity based on emerging needs and requirements. In your work, you take a holistic approach, have good planning skills, and optimize your everyday life to have good foresight and can handle many tasks simultaneously.

You have good collaboration skills, are attentive, and strive to be available and provide feedback in a timely manner, and feel responsible for providing relevant documentation and keeping it updated.

You take responsibility for common tasks and challenges and have high goals for your own work.

You should have a very good ability to work with operational support IT systems within payroll, personnel, invoicing, and student management, as well as being able to express yourself simply, clearly, and correctly in writing and speech.

You are a good organizer and are meticulous in your work. It is desirable that you have many years of experience in administrative work.
